We explored the beautiful countryside, visited local attractions, and enjoyed the fantastic onsite dining. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. We even got to hang out with the resident spaniels, made our mornings extra special.
Only downside was the cleanliness of the kitchenette. It could use a bit more attention before the next guests arrive.

The unit was clean.
Stayed here with my partner and everything was very easy. I enjoyed rooms with shower. The hotel was in a secluded location in a large terraced gardens overlooking the village of Combe Hay in idyllic countryside.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to the town centre itself, and the pub or the beautiful garden. Also, it was 5 min drive from a primary school.

The location is beautiful, and our double room was well furnished with good quality bed linen. We loved the cozy vibe of the pub with open fires, and breakfast was freshly cooked to order.
The room got really hot and there was no fan or aircon to cool it down. Parking was a bit tricky as the roads are narrow.

Charming escape in the countryside
The room was super comfy with extra pillows, and the cookies in the jar were a nice touch. Breakfast was delish and the staff were so friendly. Only bummer was that our room felt a bit damp, could use some ventilation. Great spot for a quick getaway!

The double room had a king-sized bed and a lovely walk-in rain shower that added a touch of luxury to our stay. The cozy mini bar and the inviting log fire made for a nice atmosphere to unwind after a day out.
The experience wasn't without its quirks. A few more socket outlets in the room would have been helpful for charging devices overnight. An odd incident occurred where an electric toothbrush disappeared from the locked room overnight, which left us puzzled. The breakfast hours were restrictive. We had a continental option delivered but missed a proper hot breakfast due to our early checkout. Navigating those one-lane roads to get there was a bit of a hassle.
